Wings Face New York Titans In Pre-Season Exhibition Game This Sunday
December 6, 2007 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Philadelphia Wings News Release
The Philadelphia Wings take on the New York Titans in their first exhibition game of the season on Sunday, December 9 at 9 a.m. at Center Circle in Rahway, NJ. The scrimmage is free and open to the public.
"With a large number of new and young players in camp, watching them in a game situation really helps in the evaluation process," said General Manager Lindsay Sanderson. "Sunday will be the final time we see our team in action prior to cutting down to our 23-man roster so what we see from these guys during the scrimmage is pretty important."
Featured in Sunday's scrimmage will be 11-year veteran Jake Bergey, newly acquired Defenseman and Rookie of the Year Taylor Wray, 2007 first round draft pick Merrick Thompson, and Conestoga High School and Penn State graduate Pat Heim.
