Wings Stadium to Hold a 17-Week Adult Hockey Camp Starting May 9th

Kalamazoo, MI- Wings Stadium, which is also home to "The Annex" and "The Cube," announces that registration for its Hockey 101 camp is now underway.

Hockey 101 is a 17-week Adult Hockey Camp for novice and intermediate skill levels. The goal of the camp is to develop both the skill and the knowledge of players through classroom sessions and on-ice application.

Individuals will receive 21 hours of on-ice applications, eight hours of classroom instruction. Participants will learn valuable hockey skills such as power skating, stick handling, and positioning.

Registration fee for this 17-week clinic is the low cost of $260. Wings Stadium is also offering participants the option of paying for the camp in a payment plan.

Stadium Management Company owns both Wings Stadium Complex and the Kalamazoo Wings hockey team. Wings Stadium Complex is comprised of three buildings; Wings Stadium seats more than 5,100 fans for K-Wings home games and more than 8,000 people for concerts and other stage events. The Annex seats 1,367 for ice events and 2,850 for non-ice events such as car, boat, and trade shows. The Cube is the newer of the three facilities, that plays host to both ice and non-ice events. All three buildings are available for rental and feature numerous catering and meeting opportunities.
