
Wings sign goaltender Jay Preece and defenseman Dan Finck

The Philadelphia Wings have signed goaltender Jay Preece to a one-year contract. It was announced today by Wings General Manager and Head Coach Lindsay Sanderson.
The 6'3", 200-pound, Mississauga, ON native has spent the previous two National Lacrosse League seasons as a member of the Toronto Rock's practice squad. Preece was acquired by the Rock in the third round (38th overall) of the 2002 NLL Entry Draft.
The Philadelphia Wings have also signed defenseman Dan Finck for the 2007 season. Finck, a member of the 2005 All-Rookie Team received two Rookie of the Week awards during the 2005 season. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed. Finck and the team agreed to terms on September 28th.
Last season Finck finished with 1G, 1A and recovered 44 loose balls in 10 games played. The 5'10", 190-pound defenseman was drafted by the Wings in the second round (14th overall) in the 2004 NLL Entry Draft.
