Philadelphia Wings' defenseman Ian Llord was named the NLL's Rookie of the Week for his performance in the Wings' 10-7 win over the Calgary Roughnecks last Saturday. Llord scored his first NLL goal in the contest, added one assist, and collected seven loose balls.

"Our rookies are showing great maturity this season and Ian is no exception," said Wings Head Coach Lindsay Sanderson. "In addition to showing us a scoring touch on Saturday, he played a great game defensively."

Llord has five points (1G, 4A) through five games this season and has 23 loose balls. The 6'3", 220-pound defenseman was drafted by the Wings in the first round (fifth overall) of the 2006 NLL Entry Draft.

The Wings next home game is Saturday, February 17 vs. the Buffalo Bandits at the Wachovia Center at 7:30 p.m. Pro-rated season tickets for the five remaining Wings home games start as low as $50 and are available by calling the Wings ticket office at (215) 389-WING (9464) or log on to www.wingslax.com for ticket information.
