
Wings Head to Ottawa to Face Rebel

* The Wings face the Ottawa Rebel this Saturday, February 15 at the Civic Centre in Ottawa. Game time is 3:30 p.m.
* The Rebel are coming off a 10-13 loss to the Toronto Rock at the Air Canada Centre on Friday. The loss places the Rock in third place in the NLL's Northern Division with a 3-4 record. Leading scorers for Ottawa are Kevin Howard with 27 points (16G, 11A), Jason Clark with 25 points (12G, 13A), and Mat Giles with 22 points (14G, 8A).

RECAPPING THE WINGS
The Wings were 1-1 in week seven of NLL action. Tom Marechek netted a short-handed goal with just 1:56 to go to give the Wings a 16-15 win over the New Jersey Storm on Thursday, February 6 at the Continental Airlines Arena.
The Wings returned home to the First Union Center on Saturday, February 8 where they were defeated by the Rochester Knighthawks 12-9. Forward Jeff Ratcliffe led the team in goal scoring with three.
WINGS WORLD
* Leading scorers for the Wings through six games are Tom Marechek with 28 points (1G, 17A), Paul Cantabene with 25 points (12G, 13A), Tony Henderson with 17 points (11G, 6A), and Jeff Ratcliffe with 17 points (10G, 7A).
* Defenseman Paul Cantabene leads the team in goal scoring (12). * The Wings are 2-4 hold second place in the NLL's Eastern Division behind the Colorado Mammoth.
* Forward Tom Marechek approached his 300th regular-season NLL goal. Currently Marechek has recorded 299 goals in 106 games.
* Sixth-year forward Jake Bergey will miss the 2003 season after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee in an exhibition game against Colorado at the Pepsi Center on December 6. Bergey underwent surgery last month and will continue rehab throughout the season.
DALLAS ELIUK BOBBLEHEAD DAY
The Wings will hand out Dallas Eliuk bobblehead dolls presented by Cooper Orthopedics to the first 5,000 fans 14 and under at their February 22 game vs. the New Jersey Storm. Game time is 1 p.m. The doll will also feature a bobbing goaltending stick.
BROAD ST. BASH
The Wings all-new Broad Street Bash at the First Union Center will open prior to the February 22 home game at 11 a.m. The Bash will feature live music from the group Steve Liberace, interactive games, concessions, and more! The Broad Street Bash will take place on the First Union Center concourse prior to every Wings home game.
LET THE MADNESS BEGIN
The Wings will offer a Matinee Madness package this season that includes both matinee (1 p.m.) home games on Saturday, February 22 and Saturday, March 8. The Matinee Madness package includes four mezzanine level tickets to each game and two Dallas Eliuk bobblehead doll coupons for the February 22nd game. Matinee Madness packages are just $100!

* Jeff Spano can be heard on WNJC on Tuesday, February 11 at 4:30 p.m.
* Andrew Guindon, Dallas Eliuk, and Andrew Martin will be at a special advance screening of "Daredevil" with Comcast SportsNet at the Ritz East Theater located on 2nd and Sansom Streets in Philadelphia.
