
Wings' Greenhalgh Named National Lacrosse League's Rookie Of the Week

Forward Sean Greenhalgh was named Rookie of the Week in week seven of NLL action. Greenhalgh recorded ten points (4G, 6A) over the weekend including six points (2G, 4A) in the Wings 11-10 loss to the Minnesota Swarm on Friday, February 10 and four points (2G, 2A) in the Wings 10-9 win over the Buffalo Bandits on Saturday, February 11.
"I'm definitely starting to feel more and more comfortable out there each week," said Greenhalgh. "I'm just happy I can continue to contribute and help our team keep winning."
This is Greenhalgh's second Rookie of the Week Award this season. His first came in week one of NLL play for his seven points (4G, 3A) against the Colorado Mammoth on December 30. The Cornell University graduate also received the NLL's Rookie of the Month Award for January. He is second overall in scoring for the Wings this season with 27 points (11G, 16A). Greenhalgh was drafted by the Wings in the first round (3rd overall) in the 2005 NLL Entry Draft.
