Culp, Patterson and Greenhalgh Honored

A pair of Minnesota Swarm players were honored with Week Seven player awards for their impressive performances in an 11-10 win over the Philadelphia Wings. Forward Chad Culp scored eight points (4g, 4a) in the victory and earns his first ever weekly award being named the Overall and Offensive Player of the Week. Swarm goaltender Nick Patterson secures his second consecutive Defensive Player of the Week Award after holding the Wings to 10 goals and recording 41 saves in the victory. Philadelphia Wings forward Sean Greenhalgh was named the Rookie of the Week after totaling ten points in two games in Week Seven.

Minnesota Swarm forward Chad Culp was named the Overall and Offensive Player of the Week for Week Seven after totaling eight points in an 11-10 win over the Philadelphia Wings. Culp scored four goals and added four assists and collected eight loose balls in the win, helping the Swarm improve to 4-3 on the season.

Minnesota Swarm Goaltender Nick Patterson was named the Defensive Player of the Week for Week Seven. Patterson held the Philadelphia Wings to ten points and recorded 41 saves in an 11-10 home win, improving his season record to 4-0. The award is Patterson's second consecutive Defensive Player of the Week Award and his third award of the season having also been named the Overall Player of the Week in Week Four.

Philadelphia Wings rookie forward Sean Greenhalgh was named the Week Seven Rookie of the Week. Greenhalgh scored two goals, added four assists, for a total of six points, and collected four loose balls in an 11-10 loss to Minnesota on Friday. In a 10-9 win over Buffalo on Saturday, he scored two goals and two assists, and collected three loose balls. Greenhalgh adds the award to a number of awards he's accumulated already this season. Hew was previously named the Week One Overall, Offensive, & Rookie of the Week and January Rookie of the Month.

OVERALL & OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Chad Culp (Minnesota) - (4G, 4A, 8Pts, 8LB) scored four goals and four assists, for a total of eight points, and collected eight loose balls in 11-10 win over Philadelphia.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Nick Patterson (Minnesota) - (41 Saves, 10GA) saved 41 of 51 shots on goal, allowing ten goals in an 11-10 win over Philadelphia, while improving 4-0 on the season.

ROOKIE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Sean Greenhalgh (Philadelphia) - (2GP, 4G, 6A, 7LB) scored two goals, added four assists, for a total of six points, and collected four loose balls in an 11-10 loss to Minnesota. In a 10-9 win over Buffalo, Greenhalgh scored two goals and two assists, and collected three loose balls.

The Weekly Player Awards are determined by a vote of the General Managers & Head Coaches of the league's eleven member clubs.
