The Wings' hit a speed bump last weekend when they suffered their first loss of the season, losing 12-9 to the Toronto Rock. The Wings led at the half 5-4, but a 6-0 scoring run and a scary injury to Zach Higgins turned the tide of the game in the Rocks favor, and a late Wings comeback fell short.
Heading into the Holiday Break, the Wings sit tied for 2nd in the East with Rochester and Toronto. There are two Wings players in the top 10 in NLL scoring, Matt Rambo and Corey Small. Rambo has 5 goals and 12 assists for 17 total points, and Corey Small has 6 goals and 10 assists for 16 points.
The Wings will return from the Holiday break with 4 games in 15 days at the Wells Fargo Center.
