Kalamazoo Wings News Release
Game Preview The Kelly Cup Finals continue tonight at Wings Stadium with game five of the best-of-seven series between the Kalamazoo Wings and Alaska Aces. Alaska defeated Kalamazoo last night in game four 7-5 and now leads the finals three games to one.
It's win or stay home for the K-Wings, who are facing elimination this evening. To hoist the Kelly Cup, the K-Wings will have win three straight games, which is something they have accomplished 14 times this season, which includes the regular season and Kelly Cup playoffs.
In the Kelly Cup Finals for the third time in the past five seasons, the Aces are one win away from capturing the organization's second National "AA" Championship. Alaska won their first visit to the finals in 2006 defeating Gwinnett and lost in their last trip to the Kelly Cup Finals in 2009 to South Carolina.
