
Wings and Haverford School Hold Clinic for Special Needs Children

PLACE: Don Guanella School, 1797 S. Sproul Rd. Springfield, PA
DETAILS: Philadelphia Wings players Jeff Ratcliffe and Andrew Martin, preparing for their January 25th home opener, partner with members of The Haverford School's high school lacrosse team to hold a clinic for special needs children who attend the Don Guanella School. Following the clinic, Wings players will assist Don Guanella School in the unveiling of a new scoreboard.
The six-time World Champion Philadelphia Wings begin their eight game home season at the First Union Center on January 25 at 8pm. Season tickets for the 2003 Philadelphia Wings are on sale by calling (215) 389- WINGS. Wings season tickets start as low as $120.
Don Guanella School provides education and recreation for boy's ages 5-21 with special needs. Don Guanella is the only special needs school in the country that provides lacrosse for their students. The Haverford School's lacrosse team coached by Wings alumni, John Nostrant, donated lacrosse equipment to the students last year.
