Wingnuts Holding Annual Caravan Thursday

WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Wingnuts' second annual caravan takes place later this week on Thursday, May 3rd and Friday, May 4th.

The event begins Thursday at 10:00 a.m. when the Wingnuts visit the pediatric unit at Via Christi Medical Center, located at 929 N. Francis St. At 2:30 p.m., the caravan shifts to the children's wing at Wesley Medical Center, located at 550 N. Hillside St.

Wingnuts players visiting the hospitals include returnees Derek Blacksher, Mitch Einertson, and Josh Dew, as well as newcomers David Peralta and Jake Kahaulelio.

The caravan concludes Friday, May 4th at Heroes Sports Bar and Grill, located at 117 N. Mosley St. in Old Town. Fans can catch their first glimpse of the 2012 Wingnuts players and coaches during the meet and greet from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Thursday, May 3rd

Via Christi Regional Medical Center: 10:00-11:00 a.m.

Wesley Medical Center: 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Friday, May 4th

Heroes Sports Bar and Grill: 4:00-6:00 p.m.
