BISMARCK, N.D.-Danny Green recorded his third-straight double-double, scoring 22 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, but Reno's three-game winning streak was snapped Monday night as it fell to Dakota in the Bismarck Civic Center, 114-94.
Dakota (15-26) led by just three points at halftime, but used a big second half to put the game away. The Wizards would outscore Reno (25-15) 28-20 in the third quarter, and pulled away in the final period to split the two-game series with the Bighorns.
Wizards forward Renaldo Major was the difference in the game, leading the home squad with 28 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Mike Anderson added 22 and eight rebounds, while Chris Ayer chipped in with 14 points off the bench.
Green, who has averaged 24.7 points and 10.0 rebounds per game over his three-game double-double streak, led the 'Horns in both scoring and rebounding on the evening. Anthony Richardson had another strong game, finishing with 20 points and seven rebounds. Marcus Landry and Salim Stoudamire chipped in with 15 points apiece for Reno, who finished the road trip with a 3-1 record.
