Win and In: Mammoth Secures Playoff Berth with Victory

Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth announced today that the team will secure a berth in the 2013 Champion's Cup Playoffs with a victory on Saturday night against the Minnesota Swarm.
"We have been in playoff mode as a team for more than a month, and the results speak for themselves," said Mammoth head coach Bob Hamley. "Now we have to finish the regular season on a positive note."
Hamley's squad, winners of four of its last five, is the hottest team in the NLL. (Colorado's only loss was an overtime defeat to the Calgary Roughnecks.) During the streak, the Mammoth defense has been suffocating, allowing just 9.4 goals per game.
Throughout the year, the coaching staff has preached the importance of the team playing its best lacrosse down the stretch. The message appears to have resonated with the players.
The Mammoth hosts the Swarm on HealthONE Field at Pepsi Center this Saturday, April 13 at 7pm MT on HealthONE Field at Pepsi Center on Fan Appreciation Night. A postgame concert featuring The Epilogues and My Body Sings Electric will be held on the field after the game. Tickets are on sale now at the Pepsi Center Box Office, all Colorado Dick's Sporting Goods retail Kiosks, online at TicketHorse.com or by calling 303.53.HORSE.
