ORLAND PARK, IL – The US National Development U-17 Team fell to the Springfield Spirit, 4-2 at the NAHL Windy City Showcase in Orland Park, IL.

Canton, Michigan native Brandon Scero scored an unassisted, even strength, opening goal for the US with just :58 seconds left in the first period. At the 11:46 mark of the second session Peter Mueller (Bloomington, MN) found the back of the net with an assist from Chris Cahill (North Andover, MA).

Chris Carlson (Plainfield, IL) took the loss in goal and recorded 29 saves.
