Wednesday night the Wilderness traveled to Richfield, MN to play the Minnesota Magicians. Magicians Tony Uglem started off the game with the first score (0:44). For the Wilderness scoring on a power play #5 Eric Brenk (2:40) assist by #15 Jakob Romo. The next goal of the period also came from the Wilderness on another power play by #17 Dominik Tiffels (14:53) assists by #15 Jakob Romo and #22 Jesse Kessler. First period ending Wilderness up 2-1. The lone goal of the second period game from Magicians Matt Colford (14:34) on the power play. Starting the third period tied up, Wilderness #20 Daniel Litchke scored (3:35) assisted by #22 Jesse Kessler. Matching the goal Magician's Sam Becker scored (5:31). The go ahead goal for the Wilderness was by #21 Thomas Lindstrom (8:15) assists on the goal by #16 Billy Exell and #3 Terry Leabo. Wilderness goalie #31Frank Oplinger had 23 saves on 26 shots on the night.ÃâÃÂ
Wilderness are back in Richfield Friday night to face the Magicians again.ÃâÃÂ
Saturday the Wilderness will be back at Northwoods Credit Union Arena in Cloquet to host the Magicians.ÃâÃÂ
