October 9, 2015 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Austin Bruins News Release
AUSTIN, MN - The Bruins gave up single goals in the first and second periods, and couldn't complete a third period rally as they fell to the Minnesota Wilderness, 4-1 on Friday night at Riverside Arena.
Minnesota's Koby Bender and Alex Toscano scored for the Wilderness in the first 40 minutes while netminder Chase Munroe kept the Bruins off the board.
Evan Cholak deflected in a nifty pass from Miha Zajc at 13:26 of the 3rd period to make it 2-1, but Tyler Cline answered for the Wilderness just over two minutes later. Michael Mahan added an empty netter to bring the score to a 4-1 final. Kris Carlson made 22 saves in the losing effort. The Bruins travel to Cloquet to finish the home-and-home with the Wilderness tomorrow night at 7:30.
