Wilderness Earn Sweep against Bismarck

Friday Night:

After no scoring in the first period of the game. Bobcat's Seth Blair scored early in the second period (2:47). Wilderness Forward Darian Romanko also scored in the second (14:57) assisted by Johno May. Jack Forbort scored his first goal on the season with the Wilderness in the third period (2:21) assist coming from Jakob Romo. Bismarck answered back when Jacob McDowell scored at 9:44. On a power play Ivan Chukarov scored the go ahead goal for the Wilderness (14:20) assists from Jack Forbort and Eric Brenk. Goalie Frank Oplinger had 21 saves for the night. Final score 3-2.

Saturday Night:

Just as Friday night started, Saturday's game saw no scoring in the first period. Tyler Hart of the Wilderness scored his first goal on the season in the second period (0:36) assisted by Darian Romanko and Jakob Romo. Going into the third period up 1-0, Brent Bockman adds to the lead scoring (3:06) assisted by Jakob Romo and Brett Heikkila. Bismarck scored late in the third  by Huba Sekesi (15:40) but the Wilderness held onto the lead and got the win to sweep the series with the Bobcats. Frank Oplinger had 32 saves on 33 shots for the night. Final score 2-1.
