
Wildcatters Offer Fans Shot at $200,000

BEAUMONT, TX (Oct. 16, 2007) - The Texas Wildcatters have announced the biggest promotion in team history which will occur during their 2007-08 Home Opener. One lucky fan will have the opportunity to win $200,000 by making a center-ice shot during an intermission contest when the Wildcatters kick of their 5th Anniversary Season versus the Florida Everblades on October 27 at 7:05 pm.
Tickets to the game are only $10 (non-glass), and all fans in attendance will receive an entry into the contest upon arrival to the game. Ten finalists will be chosen during the first intermission and the contestant will be randomly selected from the finalists during the second intermission. The remaining finalists will receive great Wildcatters consolation prizes, including tickets and autographed items.
The lucky fan will then take a shot from center-ice at a template placed in front of the goal where a perfect shot wins a $200,000 prize.
The $10 special applies to all non-glass tickets purchased prior to the day of the game. Tickets are available at the Ford Park Box Office or by calling Ticketmaster at (409) 833-7747. Tickets are also available at ticketmaster.com or any local Ticketmaster outlet including Macy's and HEB
Regular prices will apply to all tickets purchased day of game and begin at $12.

Opening Day for the ECHL's 20th Anniversary Season will be Oct. 18 when the Johnstown Chiefs host the Wheeling Nailers in a rematch of Game 7 from the first-ever ECHL Finals.
