Wild Pitches And Errors Lead To 18-1 Loss

Tonight (July 10, 2015) the Texas Marshals lost on the road to the Victoria Generals by a final score of 18-1. The Marshals committed five errors and had eight wild pitches throughout the game.

For the Marshals, Seth Jordan started the game and earned the loss. He pitched five innings, giving up eight runs (four earned) and striking out three. Kyle Casserly went 1-for-4, driving in the lone run of the evening for the team.

For the Generals, starting pitcher Nolan Trabanino threw seven innings and gave up just one run while striking out six. Donivan Lopez went 4-for-5, scoring three runs and hitting two doubles. Jacob Spring went 3-for-6, hitting two doubles and driving in five runs.

The Marshals return home tomorrow night to Graham Field in Plano. The team hosts the visiting Acadiana Cane Cutters.

Tomorrow night (Saturday, July 11) also is Bark In The Park Night. If you plan to bring your dog then please bring leashes and keep your dog on the grassy areas once inside the stadium.
