Tonight from Fabacher Field, the Acadiana Cane Cutters defeated the Texas Marshals by a final score of 8-5. In the bottom of the seventh inning the Cane Cutters broke a 5-5 tie, scoring one run in the seventh inning and two more runs in the eighth inning.
Jacobsen going 3-for-5 with a run scored Lott and Mahdi each getting two hits Owens pitching 4-1/3 innings and giving up only one earned run (4 runs total) while striking out four
Tomorrow night the Marshals and Cane Cutters meet again at Fabacher Field, with a first pitch of 7:00 pm.
