
Wild DB earns IFL weekly honor for third time this season

A third time is a charm for #2 Demarcus James. James was named IFL Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season. Over the weekend, he intercepted 4 passes and returned 3 for touchdowns. He set the IFL record for interception return yards in a game with 145. Six games into the season, James has already set the IFL record for interceptions returned for touchdowns (7), interception return yards for a season (362) and tied the interceptions for a season (12).
The 4-2 Wild is riding high with a four-home game winning streak this season and have a bye week this weekend. The next Wild game will be Sunday, May 11th against the 6-0 Louisiana Swashbucklers. It's a Wild Mother's Day home game at the Sullivan Arena (Mom's get in free with a 2 for 1 Clubhouse seat special). Pre-game at 2:30pm AST and kickoff is at 3:00pm AST.
