The Rome Braves announce that catcher Jace Whitmer has been sent to the Danville Braves of the Appalachian League. He will be with the team for their opening game tonight versus the Princeton Rays.
Rome is currently enjoying the South Atlantic League All Star break with the game being played tonight in Greenville, SC. Rome pitcher Chris Masters will get the start for the Southern Division squad. The team returns to action on Thursday at Lexington.
