Thank you for your ongoing support of the Whitecaps new stadium initiative. We continue to receive positive feedback from you and we are working hard to make our vision of a downtown waterfront stadium a reality.
We anticipate that our next milestone will be reached in Fall 2007, when we hope to receive approval from Vancouver City Council to enter the rezoning process. Currently, we are working very closely with the City of Vancouver, the Vancouver Port Authority, and TransLink to reach this stage.
To kick off your summer, below are TWO special offers for you to see some other great sporting events coming to our city in the next few weeks - The Steve Nash Charity Classic and the Odlum Brown Vancouver Open.
We hope you will continue to voice your support for this stadium project, so that in future we will be able to bring you events like these from a spectacular waterfront stadium setting.

Professional tennis returns to Vancouver with the Odlum Brown Vancouver Open
