PLAYERS TO WATCH:
ST. CLOUD: Defensemen Brendan Kim kept his point streak intact with an assist on Ben Helgeson's OT winner on Saturday night, recording 14 points in his last 9 games. The Burnab, BC native is tied for the team's scoring lead with 18 points in 19 games played. Possession in his own end can allow the blue-liner space to generate an offensive rush, and his awareness in the opponent's end creates prime scoring chances.
WILDERNESS: Grant Doctor is no stranger to putting points on the board and denying scoring chances for opponents with a strong two-way skillset on the Wilderness blue line. With 5 points in his last 6 games, Doctor has proven his zone entries can catch defenses double covering and leaving the D-man options on the back side of the ice.
