Join the Westerners for some exciting action as the 2nd half of the NECBL season kicks in! On Tuesday the Westerners face the Saratoga Brigade. The Danbury Westerners are honored to welcome former Negro league baseball player Gil Black to Rogers Park. Mr. Black is a former professional baseball player who played for the West Palm Beach Indians in the Florida State League in 1955 and the Indianapolis Clowns of the Negro American League in 1956. Tuesday's are also 'Dollar Dog Days' at Rogers Park!
On Wednesday the Westerners conclude their home stand with a game against the North Adams SteepleCats. The Westerners welcome Christian Community Outreach Ministries to the game.
On Thursday the Westerners then embark on their longest road trip of the season, four games in four consecutive days, visiting Holyoke, MA, Newport, RI, Montpelier, VT and Plymouth, MA.
The Westerners return to Rogers Park on Tuesday July 16 when they face the division rival Keene Swamp Bats.
Come on out to Rogers Park and support your hometown Danbury Westerners!
All home games start at 6:30.
