July 9, 2013 - New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL)
Valley Blue Sox News Release
Holyoke, MA - The Blue Sox will have to go into Montpelier, Vermont and do something only two teams have been able to do in 2013 to the Mountaineers - beat Vermont.
The Mountaineers (15-7) sit atop the Western Division as we enter the final weeks of the regular season.
Holyoke (11-12) looks to snap a two-game losing streak and try and register its first win against Vermont this season.
The Blue Sox and Mountaineers have played twice already with Vermont coming out ahead both times. On June 26 the Mountaineers won 5-4 and then again on July 2, 7-1, respectively.
First pitch between the Blue Sox and Mountaineers is slated for 6:30 p.m. at Montpelier Recreation Field in Montpelier Vermont.
