Western Night Uniforms in Auction at Saturday's Game
March 27, 2014 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth announced today that the players' 'Western Night' uniforms will be auctioned off at the game this Sat., Mar. 29 at Pepsi Center. Jerseys, shorts and helmets are Colorado-themed as the team pays homage to its western identity and cultural history.
"When you have players from other teams in the league buzzing about these uniforms on social media, you know the threads are pure gold," said Mammoth president & general manager Steve Govett.
At least a portion of each uniform is gold, as the jerseys, shorts and helmets resemble the state's flag. Helmet decals from Pro Athletics complete the ensemble.
The silent auction will be held on the lower-level concourse outside section 144 through the end of halftime, with proceeds benefiting Kroenke Sports Charities. Every item offers a buy-it-now price for fans wishing to secure the one-of-a-kind pieces.
The Mammoth takes on the Philadelphia Wings on 'Western Night' this Saturday at 7pm MT. Tickets are on sale now.
