Wenatchee Fire FC Announces Intrasquad Kids Day

November 2, 2010 - Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL) - Wenatchee Fire News Release

Fans will get their first look at the 2010/2011 Wenatchee Fire FC arena soccer club November 27, as the team takes to the Sportsplex pitch for the First Annual Black-and-White Kids Day exhibition match beginning at 4:00 PM. Highlighting the free-of-charge activities will be ticket and merchandise giveaways, contests and activities for children, and a post-scrimmage autograph session with the players.

"We are extremely pleased to be offering a free look-in at the talent the Wenatchee Fire FC has to offer this season. We want the youth to get involved and be active, and it is our hope that having the chance to watch local athletes having a good time exercising will inspire our children to do the same," said Owner/President Albert Rookard, "It should be a fun afternoon."

The Fire recently announced their ticket packages for the seven game home slate at $7 for adult single game and $40 for season tickets, and $5 for all students with I.D. and $30 student season packages. As always, children under 5 are free. Wenatchee hosts Bellingham December 11th in its Home Opener.

"This day will give the community a chance to see the excitement our product offers, reinforcing the tremendous value of Wenatchee Fire FC soccer," concludes Rookard.

The 4:00 start time was crafted so that fans would be able to enjoy the other entertainment going on in the Valley during the evening. Tryouts were recently held at the home of the Wenatchee Fire FC, the Wenatchee Valley Sportsplex.
