The Louisville Lightning Professional Arena Soccer League Team will hold a press conference on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Molly Malone's. The team will discuss the upcoming season, the home opener on Friday, November 12th, and announce the signing of two former Major League Soccer players with connections to the Louisville area. Additionally, the team will present the new uniforms and announce the team's title sponsor, a local organization based here in Louisville.
Following the signing of midfielder John Michael Hayden earlier this year, the Louisville Lightning becomes the only team in the PASL with three players on the roster with MLS experience. All three of the players have ties to the Louisville area.
In addition to the two signings, unveiling of the new uniforms and title sponsor announcement, Lightning Head Coach Ted Nichols and General Manager David Horne will preview the upcoming season and take questions from the media. The Lightning open the 2010-2011 season just three days later on November 12, 2010 with a bitter rivalry game against the Cincinnati Kings.
