PICKENS CLOSE TO RAPIDS SHUTOUT RECORD: Rapids goalkeeper Matt Pickens needs just one more clean sheet to tie Joe Cannon for the most all-time shutouts in Rapids history (25), and could achieve the milestone against Chivas USA on Saturday. With the 2-0 victory against Chicago at home on April 1, Pickens earned his 24th regular season shutout for Colorado and the 35th of his MLS career. Despite three straight losses, Pickens has made many spectacular saves to keep the Rapids in the game until the final whistle.

RAPIDS SUFFER FIRST HOME LOSS TO GALAXY: On Saturday, the Colorado Rapids suffered their first home loss of the season 2-1 to the LA Galaxy in front of 19,152 fans. Rapids forward Omar Cummings provided a spark in the 63rd minute with a goal that is nominated for the AT&T Goal of the Week; click here to watch Cummings' tally and vote.
