Sporting Kansas City Gets a Rest

After playing three games in eight days, Sporting Kansas City (7-1-0) will enjoy a weekend off from MLS play before facing the Montreal Impact at home on May 5. The club will not be without action though as they host an MLS Reserve League match against the Colorado Rapids at 6 p.m. CT on Tuesday at the Sporting Club Training Center in Swope Park. The match is free and open to the public.

In addition to the Reserve League match, Sporting Kansas City will train at 10 a.m. CT on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday at the Sporting Club Training Center in Swope Park.

Radio coverage will be available this week for Sporting Kansas City supporters to catch all the latest discussion around the club. This Week in Sporting with Josh Whisenhunt and Andy Edwards will air at 7 p.m. CT on Tuesday on Sports Radio 810 WHB. On Thursday, Cal Williams and Jake Yadrich will host the State Line Soccer Show at 6 p.m. CT on 610 Sports Radio.

Fans can also tune in at 9:30 p.m. this Sunday on KSMO-TV for Sporting Kansas City's weekly television show "Off the Pitch."
