Weekend Preview: Two Games vs. Northeast Generals
October 3, 2018 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Maryland Black Bears News Release
The Black Bears will venture north to visit division rivals, Northeast Generals, this weekend. It will be the first of six times the teams will see each other for a weekend series and the first of three visits to Massachusetts.
The Bears are looking to bounce back from only gaining one of four potential points last weekend when they lost two games, one in overtime, to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights. They will be lead this weekend by forwards Matteo Menotti and Connor Pooley, each who have three goals and six assists for nine points. Currently sitting at 3rdplace in the East Division, these are two important games for the Bears who look to pick up all four potential points and get back above .500 on the season.
This will be the final road weekend before the Black Bears return to Piney Orchard Ice Arena on October 12th and 13th.
