
Weekend Preview: Lancers Will Seek a Pair of Road Wins against Two Western Conference Foes

OMAHA, NE. - The Omaha Lancers will conclude their season series with the Waterloo Black Hawks Friday night (4/5) on the road at Young Arena. Omaha will then travel to Lincoln where they will also conclude their season series with the Stars at the Ice Box Saturday night (4/6).
OMAHA VS. WATERLOO SO FAR
The Lancers are taking on the Waterloo Black Hawks for the 4th and final time this season. This will also be just the 4th meeting in the tier one era in the month of April in which these two clubs will have met in the regular season. The Lancers have struggled against the Black Hawks this season, losing all three of their matchups. Omaha has given up at least 4 goals in the last three meetings.

OMAHA VS. LINCOLN SO FAR
The Lancers and Stars will meet for the final time in the 2023-24 campaign. The Lancers and Stars have been dead-even in the month of April during the tier one era where the Lancers are 7-7-0-1. However, the Lincoln Stars have defeated Omaha the last 4 times in the final month of the regular season. The last time the Lancers defeated the Stars in April was in 2021; the same game in which David Posma's brother Michael Posma registered a hat-trick for the Lancers.

The Lincoln Stars were shut out by Omaha at the Ice Box last week which was the first shutout loss to the Lancers at the Ice Box since January of 2010.
Lincoln currently has 25 wins, and it will be the fewest number of wins that the Stars have obtained in the Rocky Russo era.
