March 31, 2016 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Amarillo Bulls News Release

TOPEKA, KS - The Amarillo Bulls begin the first of their final four games of the 2015-16 North American Hockey League's regular season tomorrow (Friday) night when they visit the Topeka RoadRunners at Kansas Expo Center Landon Arena. The face-off of the first of two games is set for about 7:05 pm.

The Bulls will try to end a long losing slide, while the RoadRunners are firmly planted in third place in the South Division and look to gain momentum for the playoffs.

The two teams met back in December in Kansas where Topeka collected both wins by three goals. The next four were played at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center where the RoadRunners collected all four wins that were decided by two goals or less.

Forwards George Mika and Tyler Gernhofer have accounted for five of the 12 goals scored by Amarillo in the season series. Mika has three, while Gernhofer has netted three. Michael Forman and Charlie Singerhouse have managed a total of four points apiece.

The Bulls power play has been very effective on the road in recent weeks and has moved up to 12th in that category. Two of the Bulls three shorthanded goals this season have come away from home and scored by the same person Charlie Singerhouse.

Topeka is 4-7 in its last 11 games, led by Luka Maver with six goals and three others with four goals. The RoadRunners were 12-3-1 in the months of November and December, but cooled off after that with just an 11-11 mark since January 1st.

Fans can tune into the action live on CBS Sports Radio 1440, online at www.amarillobulls.com and on PPV with Fast Hockey, beginning with the Wayland Baptist University Warm Up Show at approximately 6:46 pm. Amarillo Bulls hockey with Denis J. Puska follows shortly after 7 pm.

Bulls fans have one more day to take advantage of the early bird sale on Season Tickets for the 2016-17 campaign. The prices don't include playoffs and fans can save by purchasing and paying in full before the April 1st deadline.
