THE SERIES: It's the 9th and 10th meetings of the season between the Amarillo Bulls and the Lone Star Brahmas as part of the Battle Of The Cattle Series. The last time the two teams met in the Texas Panhandle, the Bulls collected three out of a possible four points, winning on Friday night and then falling in overtime the following game.

In the previous eight meetings, the Bulls have five wins and have taken all but four points. After this weekend the two teams still have two final games left in a couple of weeks, back in North Richland Hills.

WHAT'S AT STAKE-ACROSS THE SOUTH: The Amarillo Bulls won their first South Division Regular Season Title in four years last weekend against the Topeka Pilots. This means the Bulls will have home ice advantage throughout the Robertson Cup Playoffs. The Lone Star Brahmas have a one point lead on the Shreveport Mudbugs and home ice for second place in the South Division

In other action this weekend, the Corpus Christi IceRays visit the Topeka Pilots for the first time this season in a critical match-up. The IceRays have a six point advantage over Topeka for the fourth and final playoff spot in the South Division. The Shreveport Mudbugs take on the Odessa Jackalopes at Ector County Coliseum.

NAHL SCORING RACE: Logan Jenuwine has a seven-point lead on Samuel Solensky of the Johnstown Tomahawks for the North American Hockey League scoring race. This weekend Jenuwine could set a new single season record in Amarillo Hockey History professional or junior with at least two goals. The Romeo, Michigan native would move ahead of Chris Brooks with two goals and he would also move ahead of George Mika (48) and Tyler Gernhofer (47) into Amarillo Bulls all time scoring.

STATS PACK: The Amarillo Bulls and the Lone Star Brahmas have combined for 22 games that have gone past regulation this season. The Bulls captured their first overtime win a few weeks back against the Shreveport Mudbugs. The Brahmas have two overtime victories, both at the hands of the Amarillo Bulls, but have picked up four shootout wins. Special teams are expected to be on display this weekend, as the Brahmas and the Bulls are among the leaders in penalty killing in the league. The Bulls have 12 one-goal wins this season, while the Brahmas have 11 wins by a two-goal margin.
