St. Louis Battlehawks News Release
THIS WEEK: After earning back-to-back victories at home, the St. Louis BattleHawks (3-1) return to the road to visit the DC Defenders (2-2). St. Louis is 1-1 on the road this season.
TELEVISION: Sunday's game will be broadcast on FS1 with the broadcast team of Kevin Burkhardt calling the play-by-play, Greg Olsen providing color analysis, and Jenny Taft reporting from the side- lines. Kickoff of this fifth game of the season for both teams is set for 4pm (CT).
LAST GAME: In front of 27,527 fans the St. Louis BattleHawks won their second consecutive home game with a 23-16 victory over the Seattle Dragons. The win kept St. Louis undefeated at The Dome and moved them a full game ahead of DC for first place in the XFL East Division.
Quarterback Jordan Ta'amu accounted for 327 yards of total offense (264/63). Receiver De'Mornay Pierson-El and running back Keith Ford scored first half touchdowns, while Taylor Russolino kicked three field goals to round out the St. Louis scoring.
