Week 8 Preview

June 12, 2021 - Indoor Football League (IFL) - Northern Arizona Wranglers News Release

The Duke City Gladiators (1-2) will travel to take on the Northern Arizona Wranglers (0-3) on Saturday, June 12, at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, Arizona. The kick is set for 8:05 p.m. CT.

The Gladiators are coming off a heartbreaking loss to the Frisco Fighters where it came down to a game-winning field goal from 32 yards out. Last week's loss made it a two-game losing streak for Duke City as they look to get back into the win column.

The Wranglers are looking to get their first victory of the 2021 season and as a franchise. In the last outing, Northern Arizona fell to the Spokane Shock, 42-24, but the Wranglers were in the mix until the last minutes of the fourth.

Wide receiver Kevyan Rudd grabbed his third touchdown reception of the game to cut the Shock's lead to 29-24 in the fourth quarter, but a Speedy Noil touchdown run and Charles McCullum touchdown pass to Kamrin Solomon near the 2-minute mark from the Shock put the Wranglers away for good.
