SIOUX FALLS, SD -ÃÂ The Sioux Falls Storm (3-1) will host the Spokane Shock (2-1) on Saturday, June 12 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center. Kickoff is set for 7:05 PM with the show starting at 6:45 PM.
A&B Business Solutions is the presenting partner of the Storm Homecoming Celebration. The celebration begins with a free public tailgate at 3 PM and the Storm Parade led by the new inductees at 5 PM. The first 1,000 kids to enter the Denny Sanford Premier Center will receive a replica Storm Jersey courtesy of A&B Business Solutions.ÃÂ During halftime the Storm will induct three new members into the Storm Hall of Fame; the new inductees are Rich Roste, Andre Fields and Cory Johnsen.
This game will be a match-up of two storied franchises. The Sioux Falls Storm have been a professional indoor football team for 20 years with 11 National Championships. The Spokane Shock have been a professional indoor football team for 14 years with three National Championships.
Both teams have been on a winning streak, with the Storm looking for their fourth consecutive win and the Shock looking for their third. The Storm had a dominating 64-28 win over the Bismarck Bucks last weekend. In that game, quarterbacksÃÂ Lorenzo BrownÃÂ completed nine passes for 123 yards with one touchdown and one interception, he also had one rushing touchdown, andÃÂ Tommy ArmstrongÃÂ completed two out of three passes for two touchdowns, he also had 42 rushing yards with two touchdowns.
Running backÃÂ Nate ChaviousÃÂ had 37 rushing yards and 16 receiving yards. Wide receiversÃÂ Brandon SheperdÃÂ had 58 receiving yards and 18 rushing yards for two touchdowns,ÃÂ Damian FordÃÂ had 48 yards for two touchdowns, andÃÂ JoJo GauseÃÂ had 16 yards with one touchdown.
Defensive backÃÂ Reid Harrison-DucrosÃÂ led the Thunder Defense with six tackles, and two pass break-ups. Defensive backÃÂ Trey WaffordÃÂ had 1.5 tackles for loss, one interception and five pass break-ups. While defensive backsÃÂ Jordan Baldwin,ÃÂ Jermaine RobinsonÃÂ andÃÂ Famus HastyÃÂ all had one pass break-up each. LinebackerÃÂ Marquis HendrixÃÂ had five tackles and.0.5 tackle for loss. Defensive linemenÃÂ Dequan HarvinÃÂ had one tackle for loss, one fumble recovery for a touchdown, andÃÂ Ch'aim SmithÃÂ andÃÂ Roosevelt FallsÃÂ each had 0.5 tackle for loss.
