Wednesday's Game against Carolina Postponed Due to Rain

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Due to an extended rain shower and continued inclement weather in the area, Wednesday's scheduled game between the Winston-Salem Dash and the Carolina Mudcats has been postponed. As a result, it will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Thursday, with first pitch of game one set for 5 p.m. Both contests on Thursday will be seven innings, and gates will open at 4:30 p.m. for all fans.

Fans can exchange tickets from Wednesday's game for Thursday's doubleheader. For more information, call (336) 714-2287 or visit wsdash.com. The PTI Fly East Box Office at BB&T Ballpark opens at noon on Thursday for ticket exchanges.

Winston-Salem will honor its former moniker by sporting Warthogs jerseys for both games on Thursday. Before becoming the Dash in 2009, the franchise was named the Warthogs from 1995-2008. Also, as part of a Lowes Foods Thirsty Thursday, $1 beers will be served throughout the entirety of Thursday's twin bill.
