July 21, 2018 - New York-Penn League (NYPL)
Norwich Sea Unicorns News Release

ABERDEEN, Md. - Weather on Saturday afternoon forced a postponement of the middle game in a three-game series between the Connecticut Tigers and Aberdeen IronBirds at Ripken Stadium. The game will now be played Sunday as part of a doubleheader between the Tigers and IronBirds beginning at 3:30 p.m. Both games are scheduled for seven innings.

Only one other Tigers game has been postponed or suspended by rain this season. On June 18, the Tigers faced seven pitches from the Vermont Lake Monsters before rain suspended the road game until the following day at Centennial Field.

Tune in to the Norwich Courtyard by Marriott Connecticut Tigers Radio Network for Sunday's doubleheader at Aberdeen. Coverage begins at 3:15 p.m. with Elijah Gonzalez on CT Tigers Pregame. Tune in to 1310 AM WICH across Connecticut and online at CTTigers.com via TuneIn Radio.

The Connecticut Tigers are the New York-Penn League affiliate of the Detroit Tigers at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, Connecticut. Individual tickets for all 2018 home games, season memberships to "The Club," ticket mini plans, and Tigers team merchandise are now on sale at Dodd Stadium, over the phone at 860-887-7962, and online at CTTigers.com.
