Norwich Sea Unicorns News Release
ABERDEEN, Md. - Weather on Saturday afternoon forced a postponement of the middle game in a three-game series between the Connecticut Tigers and Aberdeen IronBirds at Ripken Stadium. The game will now be played Sunday as part of a doubleheader between the Tigers and IronBirds beginning at 3:30 p.m. Both games are scheduled for seven innings.
Only one other Tigers game has been postponed or suspended by rain this season. On June 18, the Tigers faced seven pitches from the Vermont Lake Monsters before rain suspended the road game until the following day at Centennial Field.
