WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - Penguins fans can see their favorite team hit the ice again in just over a week, but no longer need to wait to get their tickets for another exciting season. Single-game tickets to all Wilkes- Barre/Scranton Penguins home games for the 2015-16 season are now on sale.

Tickets for all preseason and regular season Penguins home games may be purchased at the Mohegan Sun Arena Box Office, on-line at www.ticketmaster.com, through any Ticketmaster outlet, or by calling 800-745- 3000.

The Penguins open the preseason with a pair of home games against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Wednesday, September 30 and Friday, October 2 against the Albany Devils.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton will play 38 regular season home games, starting with its home opener on Saturday, Oct. 17, when the Penguins battle their in-state rival, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, at 4:05 p.m. Prior to the home opener, the team, along with Entercom Radio, will host a Penguins Pre-game Tailgate Party from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza.

Other highlights on the Penguins' schedule include a New Year's Eve showdown with Syracuse, two Teddy Bear Toss games on December 5 and 12, the team's annual St. Patrick's Day special on March 19 vs. Hershey, and a Pink the Rink night on Feb. 6 against Bridgeport.
