
WBA's Cleveland Magic Announce Team Tryouts

The Cleveland Magic, an expansion franchise of the World Basketball Association, announces it will hold open tryouts beginning at 9AM on Saturday March 26th at Cleveland State Community College in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Registration will be held from 9:00am til 10:00am. Registration fee is $100, in form of money order or cash, payable at the door at time of registration. For information, please contact Rick Hughes at 423-902-5820 or email rhughes@leeuniversity.edu.
The 12 team WBA, in its second year of existence, is a developmental professional league designed to teach, develop, and expose basketball players to NBA, NBDL, CBA, and International Scouts while providing each community an exciting brand of basketball and entertainment. The purpose of the WBA is to serve as a training ground to develop professional players, coaches, and personnel on and off the court. Emphasis is placed on fundamental development, career development, community involvement, and education. The WBA is the next best thing to the NBA! The Cleveland Magic, owned by American Longevity, will begin play in the WBA in late April.
