The Gwinnett Majic had eight of its nine players finish in double figures Friday night as it rolled to a 139-91 victory over the Florida Flight in a World Basketball Association Exposure League (WBA) game in Buford, Ga.
Gwinnett led 30-24 after one quarter and opened up its lead to 64-43 by halftime by outscoring the Flight 34-19 in the second period. The Majic kept it up in the second half, putting up 75 points to turn the game into a romp.
B.J. Puckett (23 points, 10 rebounds) and Javon Randolph (23 points, six assists) led Gwinnett's offensive onslaught. Darren Williams pitched in 20 points, Adrian Borders had 18, Reggie Anderson 17 (with 10 rebounds), Frank Davis 12 and the duo of Marcus Brown and Mike Sloan had 10 apiece for the Majic.
Alex Hill was the leading scorer for the Flight, pouring in a game-high 32 points. Ernest Jones had 17, Will Graham 16 and Ron Camon 11 for Florida in the loss.
Gwinnett's regular season is done with an 11-3 record, while Florida (7-5) closes out its regular-season schedule Sunday afternoon against the Decatur Court Kings. Tipoff at the Kissimmee Civic Center is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
