WB16 to carry NLL All-Star Game

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Knighthawks lacrosse team and WRWB TV-16 announced today that the Rochester station will televise the 2006 National Lacrosse League LIVE on Saturday, February 26th. The game is a 4:00 p.m. start at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.

Rochester's Ed Comeau will serve as the head coach of the East Division. Comeau has Rochester (5-3) tied for the East Division lead with the Buffalo Bandits. Further, defenseman Steve Toll, goalie Pat O'Toole and forwards John Grant and Shawn Williams will represent the Knighthawks at the event. Grant, Toll and O'Toole were all named starters for the East Division and Toll will also serve as one of the team's assistant captains.

Rochester travels to play the expansion Portland LumberJax on Saturday, March 4th. The game at the Rose Garden is a 4:00 p.m. start and will be carried live on the B2 Networks.

Rochester returns home the following weekend for a rare Friday night game against the Philadelphia Wings at 7:35 p.m. The meeting is the first of a home-and-home series against the Wings, which ends on Saturday, March 11th at the Wachovia Center. Both games will be carried live on the B2 Networks.
