Wave United Teams Up with Famous Dave's and 99 WMYX

(Milwaukee, WI) All fans attending Wave United home games at Uihlein Soccer Park (7101 W. Good Hope Rd. on Milwaukee's northwest side) this season will receive a Famous Dave's Milwaukee Wave United Win Card courtesy of Famous Dave's Barbecue and 99 WMYX. The Win Card features the Wave United home schedule and each time Wave United wins a home game, fans with the Win Card will receive a free Chicken Wing Sampler at Famous Dave's in Waukesha, Madison, Janesville or Appleton. The free wings must be redeemed before the next home game. Win Cards are available at all Wave United home games, 99 WMYX Radio, and the four Famous Dave's locations.

Wave United, featuring most of the Wave indoor squad including MISL MVP Greg Howes, Todd and Troy Dusosky, Matt Schmidt, Johnny Torres, Joe Hammes, and Pat White, as well as local favorites Chad Dombrowski, Nick Walls, and Steve Lawrence opens the 2004 A-League (outdoor) season this weekend against the arch-rival Minnesota Thunder. Milwaukee will play at Minnesota on Friday (5/21, 7:05 PM at James Griffin Stadium in St. Paul, MN) before returning home to host the Thunder Saturday night (5/22, 7:05 PM) at Uihlein Soccer Park.
Saturday's Wave United Home Opener is sponsored by World's Finest Chocolate, with the first 1000 kids (under 12) receiving a candy bar courtesy of World's Finest Chocolate. Tickets for all kids (under 12) are also just $5. In addition, all campers who have already registered for the 2004 Wave / Wave United Summer Camp Program can also use their camper season pass for free admission.
Tickets for Saturday's game ($12 adults) are on sale at the Wave / Wave United Office, 510 W. Kilbourn Ave. (Suite B), the Uihlein Soccer Park Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster Outlets, or through phone charge at 414-276-4545.
