
Wave United's Greg Howes named A-League Player of the Week

TAMPA, FL â United Soccer Leagues announced today the A-League Team of the Week for Week 19 of the season, honoring Milwaukee's Greg Howes as the Player of the Week.
Chasing after a playoff berth, the Milwaukee Wave United earned two key victories on the week courtesy of Greg Howes, who scored four goals in a pair of wins over Calgary and Edmonton.
On Tuesday, Howes opened the week with the club's lone goal in a 1-0 win in Calgary with a strike in the 49th minute on an assist from Todd Dusosky.
Two nights later with the score tied 2-2 at home against Edmonton, Howes found the back of the net for what proved to be the game-winner in the 80th minute and went on to score two more in the next seven minutes for a hat-trick on the night en route to a 6-2 victory.
