Wave Training Camp Continues

(Milwaukee, WI) The Milwaukee Wave, a member of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) continues preparations for the upcoming 2004-05 season with daily workouts at Uihlein Soccer Park, 7101 W. Good Hope Rd. on Milwaukee's northwest side. Coach Keith Tozer's squad will workout every day this week at Uihlein, with all training sessions scheduled to begin at 10 AM with the exception of Thursday's workout (10/7) which will start at 9 AM. A complete Wave Preseason Training Camp Training Schedule follows below.

17 veterans from last year's squad are currently training with this year's edition, including: MISL MVP forward Greg Howes; all-star forwards Todd Dusosky and Michael King; all-star defenders Troy Dusosky, Chris Morman, and Lovelace Ackah; and goalkeeper Dan Green, who posted the league's best goals-against-average (4.02) during the regular season.

Milwaukee's first preseason games will take place Saturday, October 9 when the Wave takes on the Kansas City Comets (10 AM) and Cleveland Force (5 PM) at the Darien Sportsplex in Darien, IL.

The Wave opens the regular season on Saturday, October 23, 7 PM against the first-year Chicago Storm at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, IL. Fans interested in attending the contest can contact the Storm Office at 312-226-4625 or visit www.chicagostorm.net for more information.

Milwaukee's home opener is slated for Friday, October 29, 7:05 PM when the Wave hosts the Storm at U.S. Cellular Arena featuring a post-game concert by the popular local group "The Love Monkeys."

Individual tickets ($20, $16, $14, $12) for all regular season home games go on sale Thursday, October 7, 11:00 AM at U.S. Cellular Arena. All fans and media are invited to join the Wave players, coaches, and staff for the "Individual Ticket Sales Kick-Off" in the USCA Lobby beginning at 11:30.
