
Wave/Go Pink Event At Major Goolsby's

MILWAUKEE (Feb. 3, 2010) - Wave players will serve food and tend bar Thursday, Feb. 11 during a special Go Pink! Soccer dinner event at Major Goolsby's.
A silent auction and a "Shirt Off Their Back" auction are both part of the festivities, which run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the famous Milwaukee sports bar at the corner of 4th Street and Kilbourn Avenue.
Wave players Marco Terminesi, Ian Bennett, Travis MacKenzie, Ryan Mack, Tenzin Rampa and Tom Oatley are scheduled to participate.
Cost is $30 per person in advance and $40 at the door. Choose from one of three menu items, with soda or tap beer included. All tips and other proceeds will be donated to Go Pink! Soccer, which provides grants to women who are battling the disease.

The Wave's Go Pink! Game, presented by Valvoline Instant Oil Change, is Saturday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. against Rockford. Get a limited-edition pink soccer ball to get autographs from former Green Bay Packers, including Dorsey Levens, Antonio Freeman, Frank Winters, Brian Williams, George Koonce, Bill Schroeder and Derrick Mayes.
