Milwaukee Wave News Release
MILWAUKEE (Feb. 5, 2010) - A blizzard expected to dump up to 2 feet of snow on the East Coast has forced postponement of Saturday's Milwaukee Wave game at the Philadelphia KiXX.
A makeup date will be determined next week.
The Wave (7-6) are in third, a half-game out of first. Philadelphia (3-6) is in last place after opening the season with six consecutive road games.
With Saturday's postponement, the Wave's next scheduled action is a home contest at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13 against the Rockford Rampage. It's the Go Pink! Soccer game, presented by Valvoline Instant Oil Change. Purchase a limited-edition pink soccer ball along with your game ticket, and you can come down on the field following the game for an autograph session with former Packers Dorsey Levens, Antonio Freeman, Frank Winters, George Koonce, Bill Schroeder, Brian Williams and Derrick Mayes. Proceeds benefit Go Pink! Soccer.
