The 2006 Major League Draft took place June 6-7 and the Washington Nationals selected 52 players in the 50-round draft. MONSTERMOBILE TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE

Seats are still available for the "Monstermobile" headed down to Massachusetts for the Washington Nationals at Boston Red Sox game on Monday, June 19th and the Vermont Lake Monsters season opener at Lowell Spinners on Tuesday, June 20th. The trip includes bus ride to Boston, hotel room Monday night in Lowell and a ticket to both games. HOST FAMILIES STILL NEEDED

The Lake Monsters are still looking for "Host Families" to house one or more of the players for the 2006 season. Among the perks are "host family" General Admission Season Tickets for the 2006 Lake Monsters season, 10% off whenever purchasing merchandise from the souvenir stand at Centennial Field and have a chance to take batting practice at Centennial on August 6th during the Season Ticket Holders Batting Practice. CENTENNIAL CLUB ANNOUNCED

In honor of the 100th Anniversary of Centennial Field, the Lake Monsters would like to celebrate the 100th anniversary of some of their fans.
